Meet Susan Baer, owner and founder of Baer Technology and principal consultant, speaker and trainer.
Susan Baer, President of Baer Technology, has trained and supported over 4,000 computer owners since 1994 in an atmosphere of warmth and professionalism. She leads in-person workshops and webinars on cybersecurity, technology awareness, and brain health as it relates to technology.
Susan founded Baer Technology in 1994 so she could offer one-on-one and group training and support to home users, small businesses, large firms, and corporations. Her goal is to customize training and support to meet your needs and to offer strategic consulting to assess your hardware needs, upgrade your network, computers, and devices, and recommend hardware and software.
PRESS: Susan has appeared on Fox 5 TV News advising the public on critical technology topics of the day, such as the Year 2000 date changeover and internet hacking. She made multiple Cable TV appearances in the Washington DC area. The Washington Post and other local networks consulted Susan for expert advice and statements. She hosted Washington's Tech Tips on WGMS FM.
BIO: Prior to launching her own computer training and consulting business, Susan earned her Bachelors Degree in Business Management from Goucher College and a Diplôme de la Langue Française with Honors from L’Alliance Française. She began teaching computers to staff members at the Press Department of the French Embassy in Washington, DC where she worked as a Documentalist. She then designed and managed training programs for American Express® partner companies in the US and abroad with USAssist, Inc, an international innovative start-up emergency and concierge services company. Susan was a lead partner and Marketing Vice President for Gatekeeper, LLC – an innovative tech startup with patented anti-virus applications.
Susan’s counterbalance to technology is her affinity for motherhood, dance, mindfulness, and nature.
